The founder of the company, Ardeshir Godrej, is a lawyer who became a serial entrepreneur, and has bad luck with his first few companies before he started a locks business that became very successful. Today, we have the privilege of having 1.1 billion customers globally, with businesses in consumer goods, real estate, appliances, agriculture, and many more. We are geographically present even beyond Earth, as our engines now power many missions to space for India.
