UP RERA Approved Projects 2026: 13 New Real Estate Projects Cleared in Uttar Pradesh

A major development in Uttar Pradesh’s real estate sector is witnessed as UP RERA News sheds light on the sanctioning of various UP RERA-approved projects 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has given clearance to 13 new real estate projects worth ₹2,380.04 crore altogether. This approval has been granted after conducting the regulator’s 212th and 213th meetings at its headquarters under the chairmanship of UP RERA chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy.

The new project approvals cover six important districts of Barabanki, Lucknow, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), and Agra, wherein there will be the construction of 4,724 residential and commercial units.

According to the official figures given by the regulator, the investment and unit developments differ from one region to another:

  • Barabanki: This has emerged as the biggest beneficiary of investment capital, securing clearance for two residential projects valued at ₹751.42 crore that will result in 591 residential units.

  • Varanasi: Secured clearance for three residential projects estimated to cost ₹750.24 crore, resulting in 1,189 residential units.

  • Lucknow has the maximum number of property units among all districts. Only one large-scale residential project worth ₹385.76 crore has been approved that will have 1,392 units.

  • Ghaziabad: Providing a boost to the Ghaziabad real estate market, three projects (two commercial and one residential) have been cleared, costing around ₹286.27 crore and producing 864 units.

  • Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida): Approved for two developments (one residential and one commercial), which will have an investment value of ₹186 crore and produce 564 units.

  • Agra: Two residential projects were approved with an estimated investment cost of ₹20.35 crore, having 124 units.

In total, the NCR centers of Noida and Ghaziabad comprise almost ₹500 crore of the total investment coming into the region.

The UP RERA noted that such a large capital expenditure would create significant momentum not only in real estate but also in the state's overall economy. The rise in the construction industry will increase demand in industries such as steel, cement, construction materials, transportation and logistics, and engineering services.

Also, the execution of such UP RERA approved projects 2026 will provide a wide variety of employment options for the skilled and unskilled labor force.

The UP RERA stated that the growth in the real estate sector is due to favorable policies by the government of the state of Uttar Pradesh towards investors and modernization of cities.

Highlighting the essential mission of the regulatory body in UP RERA News, the regulatory body stated that ensuring transparency, ensuring compliance with project timelines, and protecting the buyer’s interest are of paramount importance. By ensuring that registrations are streamlined and compliance is ensured, the regulatory body can help increase the trust of buyers.
